Jermil Tarver, MSW, LSW, is a licensed social worker, and the Child and Family Therapist for True Colors; Tangible Change Behavioral Health Services. Mr. Jermil has over 20 years of service in child and family mental health, specializing in trauma-informed care, family systems, and culturally responsive therapy. He holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and a B.A. in Speech and Communications from Fisk University, both with honors. Jermil’s therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices including CBT and motivational interviewing. He has worked extensively with individuals and families facing trauma, grief, relationship issues, and systemic challenges. With a background in both clinical practice and organizational leadership, Jermil brings a deep understanding of client needs and a strong commitment to equitable, empowering mental health care.
